The stockpile ceiling doubles in volume but not in risk logic — in fact it sharpens. Two babies burn a size twice as fast, which halves the outgrowing risk of a big case: a size a singleton wears for eight weeks lasts twins about four, so a warehouse case that would be reckless for one baby can be prudent for two. The catch is synchrony: twins often size up within weeks of each other, not on the same day, so keep one open case plus one sealed case per size as your standing pattern, and exchange — never donate in frustration — the sealed leftovers when the second twin sizes up. Subscriptions earn their keep twice over for twins: a missed delivery is a double emergency run at convenience-store unit prices, the single most expensive sentence in twin parenthood.
